Distributed Cloud Research Infrastructure
Highly scalability, flexibility and openness are the primary features of the distributed cloud research infrastructure buildup by ASGC based on the ever-evolving and reliable core technologies learned from WLCG and EGI. Heterogeneous computing resources ranging from various generations of GPU servers, CPU clusters are integrated based on containerization and virtualization technologies. Resources of collaboration partners are also able to be federated with ASGC to support larger scale applications collectively and seamlessly. Aggregatively, the whole distributed cloud platform, compute/storage/network resources, services, core components and its management are integrated as the Distributed Cloud Operating System (DiCOS).
