In 2000, Asia-Pacific Grid (ApGrid) was proposed to build Computational Grid around Asia-Pacific region. ApGrid provides a meeting point for all Asia-Pacific HPCN researchers, a communication channel to the Global Grid Forum, and other grid communities and a pool for finding international project partners. Its objectives focus on sharing resources and knowledge, developing grid technologies, etc. in the Asia-Pacific region. Now ApGrid has participants from Australia, Canada, China, India, Hong Kong, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, U.S.A. and other APAN members.

  • APGrid 2002

The 2nd ApGrid workshop will be held in Taipei during May 14 - 17, 2002. The invited speakers from academia and industry will talk about the latest advances and applications in grid systems. The current and future grid projects around the world will also be discussed.
